Composite Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and document processes for carbon-fibre composite manufacturing.
• Define handling, storage and out-life controls for prepreg or towpreg materials.
• Plan and run process trials, and analyse and report the results.
• Support manufacturing with process troubleshooting.
• Maintain process specifications and records.

Essential qualifications

• A relevant technical qualification or equivalent practical experience in materials, polymer, chemical, mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• Knowledge of carbon-fibre composite materials and their processing.
• Ability to plan trials and document results clearly.

Preferred qualifications

• Hands-on experience with prepreg or towpreg processing.
• Experience with cure-cycle development.
• Experience with laboratory or coupon-level material testing.
