Responsibilities
- Support industrial robot programming and commissioning.
- Coordinate robot programmes with AFP toolpaths and manufacturing requirements.
- Maintain robot coordinate systems, work frames and tool configuration records.
- Support robot-to-machine integration and peripheral communication.
- Diagnose automation faults and recurring downtime.
- Establish safe commissioning and recovery procedures.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and equipment servicing.
- Manage authorised programme backups and configuration control.
- Support robot-path optimisation and cell-utilisation improvements.
- Coordinate with equipment suppliers on faults and upgrades.
- Maintain automation documentation and service records.
- Work with AFP engineers to verify process execution.
Essential qualifications
- Degree or diploma in robotics, mechatronics, electrical, mechanical or automation engineering.
- Experience with industrial robots or manufacturing automation.
- Knowledge of robot programming, coordinate frames and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of industrial equipment interfaces and safety systems.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with KUKA or comparable industrial robot platforms is strongly preferred.
