Structural Analysis Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build, run and check finite element models of composite structures.
• Carry out laminate and structural sizing calculations.
• Correlate analysis with available test data.
• Prepare clear technical reports and present findings to the engineering team.
• Work with design and manufacturing engineers on producible structural concepts.

Essential qualifications

• A relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience in structural mechanics.
• Sound understanding of structural mechanics and finite element analysis.
• Ability to write clear technical reports.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience analysing composite laminates.
• Experience with a commercial FEA package.
• Experience correlating analysis with test results.
